Morio S. "2001 Audi TT 225 QC"

Shout out to our most recent collab. Tyler Tate, and  Jason Marble of JMD, an awesome duo making these photos amazing for us all to see.

"The Germans are here, the Germans are here!" For the second, maybe even a third time in history the German's have invaded Gripset, killin ya'll with Back-to-Back features! Is everyone else asleep? What's really goin' on!? This black beastly Audi TT is subtle of the boasters kind, everything so neatly packaged as if it were almost stock. But leave no room for error, a quick misjudgment, and this secret sauce TT will get AUDIOS on that @$$! Clearly the focus was such, a wolf in sheep's clothing. The owner of this rarely modded TT did not just stop at "stance" and exterior accessories, he knew what fun he'd have making this the ultimate package by upgrading some engine bits. His fun didn't even stop there, his interior and audio is laced with some one-off tailored items......Definitely added browny points at any show!

Just beware of the car you rev up next, it just might be this low-riding TT......Squishing, bangin, and blowing your door off!

The Motivation
This part was hard for me, I have always been motivated by beautiful designs. Especially automobile design. In 1995 I saw the pictures of the concept car from Audi called the "TT". It was love at first sight! I day dreamed about the design and how I wished it would be more than a "concept". Sure enough when it was released in Europe as a 1998 model I knew I had to have one.  It took me until 2003 to come up with the money to finally get one (married and 4 kids keeps you broke but happy), I picked up this 2001 CPO TT. It was a returned lease car and was everything I thought I needed. Even the wife got a chuckle when I promised her, "I wasn't going to mod this one". I envisioned "sleek and low" with this car. I wanted to combine all the great designs of other cars into this one. I am a huge Porsche fan and wanted to give it a feel like Porsche does so well. Which is why the 18" Kinesis and GT3 seats were a must! They just fit the lines of the car and I couldn't think of anything better looking for her. Air ride came into the picture when I lowered it so much on coilovers and was still not happy nor was it drivable. This car has only had me work on her. I have done everything from timing belts, notching sub-frame, etc until recently when I went to a good friend of mine to do my Audio install, Jason Marble from Jason Marble Designs. He built the false floor, sub enclosures, iphone5 holder, etc on this ride. The Jameson tank my wife created (she is an artist) because 12 year is my drink of choice!

Future Plans
Currently I am waiting on the last piece to finish it up. A TT guy who fabs things on the side is working on a new Steering wheel for me. After that I plan to put a 996 911 Targa next to her in the garage (which will start another process). Finish up my Son's cars (w201 190e and a VW Scirocco)
