Denis S. "2012 STI Base Model"
What's next? The AWD sensation! No I don't just mean this Subaru. I mean what's next to claim fame as a proper daily grinder with one mean temper, that wilds' out at blip of the throttle!!!! Nothing better than a AWD FI platform to get the point across. To ice the cake a bit more, a menacing stance as pictured above helps too! Now catering to a world variety of enthusiasts a change in customer demands have made car's like these more than just a crowd favorite. Young an old alike seem to flock to AWD cars, casually sought for their known versatility, and if it's a Subaru brand, it's rally heritage. Built to withstand harsh colds, and desert heats, AWD cars have become more and more practical, even if your just a weekend enthusiasts. If you've never paid attention to them, then it's time to give them a second look. We will kick things off with Denis S's "B.o.B" factory redesigned 2012 STI ( How else can you hide a wolf? Correct! In sheep clothing ). Hard at work, Team member Sharon, brings us the scoop on Denis.............
What motivated you to build it?
The Subaru STI has always been my dream car. However, my very
first car was a Nissan 240SX s13 (SR20DET). I was going build my s13 to
be a drift car but I ended up selling my s13 because of the rust on the
frame. After I sold my 240SX I was in the market for new car. I saw
the new STI wide body and thought, "thats the car i want!" So I
contacted a dealership around my area and inquired about the STI.
Unfortunately, during the time I had contacted them about the STI they
didn't have any in stock. So instead I went with a 2011 WRX rally blue
for my birthday last year. I owned the WRX for 6 months, but every time I
saw a STI I just got so enivous. It bothered me so much that I just
pulled the trigger and traded my 2011 WRX for a 2012 STI! Don't get me
wrong I loved my WRX, but STI is a whole different beast.
