What is the correct definition of a daily driven car? Some of you may say... its just a car that I can put so many miles to it, as long as it takes me from point A to point B. Wouldn't really matter how it looks or performs. However, to others like Nicholas B. a bit of performance & style in a daily driver matters, and I'm sure many may agree, some may disagree on the subject but screw you tree huggers. Gripset took a further look at his 240sx and surprisingly it shocked us to see how clean and reliable this car is in it's current state. It's not only about the "looks," we've said this before, but about the performance helps us get the point across. Let's get behind the scene with Nicholas as he shares with us a part of his daily project.

What motivated you to build it?

I originally traded my CRX for this car, as a bone stock 240sx that had sat for 3 yrs at my local jdm parts importer (Japanese Engine Import). My friend who runs the importing shop had wanted my CRX for some time. I have always been a fan of RWD cars especially the S chassis cars and old corollas. So after my friend and I worked out the terms of our trade I received the s14 with a pile of parts and immediately took her home to begin work. Over the next couple of weeks with the help of my friends at Custom Wheels Boutique the car received its coilovers and 5 lug conversion along with a slew of other goodies. After about 3 months of fiddling with the car my daily driver arrived at the point you see her at now. "I drive this car every day to and from work,  about 70+ miles total daily."

What are your future plans for it?  

 Currently I just want to keep it reliable and fun to drive, but future plans will include beefing up the power plant..... consisting of at least 6 cylinders ;) Hopefully it can be my toy car then...not my dd.
